Find your flourish?

What is the slogan, “Find your flourish” about?

Often times during the first session, I ask my client(s):

  •  How will they know or how will they be able to discern or recognise that the therapeutic process has been useful or helpful to them?
  • What changes would they want to see in themselves or in their lives after therapy or
    counselling has been completed?

That is what Finding your flourish is about; it is about those specific answers that each client gives to that question. Those specific hopes and desires for each of my clients.

It’s our map in in therapy. It gives us direction during our therapeutic collaboration; it gives us goals to work towards.

My slogan is “Find your flourish” – emphasis being on “your”.

This slogan speaks to a non-generic approach to the therapy. It speaks to me recognising that every person that walks through my practice doors is an individual.

Yes, I may see numerous clients with similar difficulties or diagnoses, however the root of it for each individual may be different, the manner in which the challenges manifest for each one may be different. The way they make sense of the challenge or attach meaning to it, may be different, and the way they cope with the identified challenge may be different.
